Les rooftops de Marseille

In recent years, many rooftops have been flourishing in Marseille. This partial list will enlighten you on the must-see places of Marseille to discover both day and night.

The latest: the Dantès at the Sofitel, a panoramic lounge bar with a terrace of 150 m² and at night, one of the Vieux Port’s and MuCEM’s best views, illuminated with thousands of lights. The champagne and cocktail bar, chic and relaxed with cozy designer decoration, offers theme nights: jazz, elcto, DJ, etc.

 

The most festive: the rooftop R2 (Air de Marseille) of 1,250 m², at the Terrasses du Port, perched between sea and sky, offers a 360° view and can accommodate up to 1,500 people.
From Thursdays to Sundays, atmosphere and different themes:

  • On Fridays, La Musicale dedicates to lives with programming from Soul to Funk, through Rock
  • On Saturdays, Le Haut Paradis hosts legends of electro-disco with the desire to revive the New-York club culture of the 80s and 90s
  • On Sundays, from 4pm, follow DJs at Les Jardins Suspendus


Innermost: Vertige (at the Galeries Lafayette Saint Ferréol), an exceptional invite-only place where guests can get together on an intimate and elegant dancefloor. Iconic groups of Marseille play every other week.

 

The most cultural: The Regards RoofTop (at the Regards de Provence Museum), an invitation to art, heritage and gastronomy. Facing the port of Joliette, the esplanade of MuCEM and Villa Mediterranée, it invites you to voyage and relax. Privatized in day or evening, it can accommodate up to 80 people for cocktails.

The most private: The terrace of the Palais des Congres (at the Parc Chanot) can accommodate up to 500 people for cocktails. With its Astroturf and panoramic view, it offers a unique setting for business parties.
