The legendary sailing ship Belem in Marseille

The legendary sailing ship Belem and her famous three-masts still in operation will be calling at Marseille on June 23, 24 and 25 2021, for a stopover on her journey between Cannes, Saint-Tropez and Sète. For the moment, it is not yet known if she will be open to the public for visits.

58 m long, 1,200 m of sail, 16 professional sailors…

The arrival of the ship, which was built in 1896, is always a magnificent event at the entrance to the Old Port of Marseille.
The ship is 58 m long in total and can carry 1,200 m of sail. It is operated by 16 professional sailors, assisted by volunteer crew members with extremely varied profiles.
Her presence cannot be denied, no matter where she stops in the Port.

Do you love the sea and boats? Come to the quays of the Old Port to admire this extraordinary sight.
