For nearly three months now, the event industry has been virtually at a standstill. Locally, companies in the sector have been hit hard by the virus. To get through this crisis, the professionals decided to join forces by creating the union of event activities. Thanks to the initiative of Cédric Angelone, president of the Marseilles-based communication and events company Artkom, and the director of the Marseilles-based agency Médiacom Eric Algoud, the union of event activities : the SAE was born.
Today, more than 300 companies have joined the movement: advertising agencies, event organisers, cinemas, reception venues, caterers.
The objective: to work and communicate jointly to promote the interests of our sector.
Although the union of event activities was established in Marseilles and currently has members mainly from the southern region, the structure is intended to welcome more widely all companies and organisations that request it.
And it’s no surprise that our agency has joined the SAE!
