Marseille à Paris 2017

How do we promote Marseille to Parisian decision-makers? Who better than the professionals of Marseille who are involved in knowing perfectly what is at stake in promoting the city’s identity and encouraging people to look at Marseille in a different light.

The Marseille Convention Bureau organized a networking evening, for the third consecutive year, on Tuesday March 14 2017, at the prestigious Collège des Bernardins, in Paris. The aim of the event was to promote Marseille as a destination and to put different events organizers of Paris (MICE agencies, companies, and journalists) in touch with Marseille tourism professionals.

Each year, this event offers the opportunity to build a different relationship with this demanding Parisian public, by showing itself in a different light, in a professional but also festive, playful and intimate context. divine [id] agency, active member of the Convention Bureau and partner of the evening was in charge of all the visual communication of the event and its reception.
As every year, the recurring theme of the evening was “MADE IN MARSEILLE”. The city was honored through its crafts, its creators, its artists, its traditions with typical culinary animations from the South and a tasting of the Provence’s greatest Rosé wines.
However, this year, Marseille-Provence is the European Sports Capital. That’s why this theme was naturally chosen for this networking evening.
Everything was orchestrated, so that the 40 partners, tourism professionals of the region (e.g. congress sites, hoteliers, caterers, agencies) could meet 240 guests (240 potential customers). Several animations were proposed: a demonstration of football skills, a cycling challenge, a tournament of pétanque, a tasting of great Rosé wines and a sports quiz.
All attendees left the evening with the desire to come and organize their next event in Marseille and many firm contacts were made!
